All sell !ITEM: This is a vintage and original c. 1950s/1960s modernist French advertising poster by the artist Jean Desaleux. A vibrantly blue lithograph, this oversized affiche advertises a top of the line Mielelavent vite linge, the quick wash machine. The poster illustrates the shiny, modern technology of the latest dish washers and washing machines that were revolutionizing the way housework was completed during this era. With bold graphic design and dynamic lithography, this poster is a perfect example of \"Mad Men\" era advertising.Measures 47\" x 63\"CONDITION: As is very good condition with increased wear along the original mailing folds (particularly in the lower left quadrant of the poster) and mild edge wear/tattering from storage. We believe this might be one half of a billboard sized poster but it displays boldly and coolly on its own. This will linen back and display very well!
