Offered in this sale is a very nice hand thrown artisan made ceramic plate that was made by Glidden in the mid 1900s. It has an incised mark on the back that reads GLIDDEN 31. It is made of sandstone pottery with a hand painted glazed abstract pattern executed in a range of blues, black and natural. It measures roughly 9 5/8\" square x 5/8\" deep. The size of this plate makes it ideal for serving canapes or as a decorative accessory in any mid century modern, Danish modern or contemporary home. The condition is excellent. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or restoration.
