This is a beautiful set of vintage-modern brass book ends designed by Ben Seibel for Jenfred-ware by Raymor. Excellent condition, amazing mid-century design with a beautiful patina but still have incredible shine! Features the Jenfred logo cast into the design as well as the original manufacturers sticker and felt attached! Ben Seibel (1918-1985) studied architecture at Columbia University until his studies were interrupted by military service. Upon his discharge, Seibel resumed his education at the Pratt Institute, changing his concentration to industrial design. Seibel had a varied and prolific career, producing dinnerware, flatware, lamps, furniture, and wood and metal tabletop accessories. His bookends are highly collectible today.
