This metal can holder advertises Monarch food products made by Reid, Murdoch & Co. of Chicago. It was designed to attach to a store shelf and hold a can of various products. I believe it dates to the 1930\'s give or take a few years. The round part of the holder measures 3 1/2\" in diameter while the entire display measures 6\" X 3 1/2\". It\'s in good, sturdy condition. There are some dirt-like marks around the letter \"M\" in \"Monarch and a small dark mark under the letter \"H\". Also, there is some edge wear and what looks like a small area of white paint along bottom (back side) of the display.
