Vintage 1970 Monteblanc 402 SG Monte Rosa Silvexa EF 585 Nib with Original Box
Please Note: I am not an expert on collectible fountain pens. I\'ve left this Monte Rosa is the exact condition I found it in at a Boston, MA Estate. From my brief online research, I believe it is a Model Montblanc 402 SG with 585 karat (14K) EF (Extra Fine) Nib...I\'ll leave it to the experts to determine. The original sticker indicating the model and nib size is still adhered to the pen\'s barrel. Engraved into the base of the silver cap is MONTBLANC Monte Rosa GERMANY.
Engraved into the nib is MONTBLANC 14C MONTBLANC 585. The Original box and paperwork is included as seen in the photos. Cosmetically, the pen appears to be in Excellent condition with a few light marks/scuffs on the barrel. The point of the Nib is intact (in nice shape). As mentioned in theCondition Description, please assume this pen might need some minor cleaning or restoration to function as it did when initially purchased in 1970. I have not tested it and don\'t feel comfortable attempting to play with it...selling it AS IS.
