A vintage Montblanc pen; made in Germany.
Marks and characteristics:
From top to bottom;The cap is tipped with the Montblanc star logo, the clip band is engraved with a model number comprised of 2 letters and a number: \"IW1666585\", in the familiar boxy font. On the band\'s other side is the word \"Germany\". In the inner side of the clip, \"Made in Germany\" is also engraved.The cap shuts tightly.The central band is golden, as all other accents, and engraved with:\"MONTBLANC MEISTERSTÜCk\".The letters are filled with consistently-aligned dashes.
The nib is engraved with \"4810/the Montblac star/14K/585\".
The pen\'s neck is made out of tactile black resin, noticeably of better quality than common plastic.
Inside, ink is fed with a piston filler, and is also branded. It screws into place tightly, and no components are loose, even if the pen is shaken.
Textured design runs through the cap and body.
This item is used and wear is prevalent on the piston filler and the numerals on the nib. It functions perfectly.
The holder is a long black leather pocket embossed and capped with the logo.
