The 85 year old lady who inherited this piece said her mother bought it a long time ago. It is an extremely tightly woven 11.5 inch diameter x 6\" round basket and has only been displayed. It turns out it is a HAUSA basket made in Nigeria, and not a Navajo as we were originally told.
