Attention collectors! Very, veryrare find. This is the most comfortable pair of Nike Air cross-trainers, and for that matter, the most comfortable pair of tennis shoes. I owned two identical pairs andkept these new ones in reserve for backup when the other two pairs failed.However, new styles continually emerged and I jumped on those styles instead -- so this pair is still brand new, unworn, and unmolested. I\'m unsure what the lace style is called, but it\'s kind of a speed-lace since the traditional eyelets are replaced by a non-traditional system that really works well. I probably should have taken the lace endsout of the inside of the shoes for the photos; there is nothing special about how the laces terminate. Also, a thoughtful design touch is that there are nine handsome embroideries on each shoe -- two Swooshes, one Nike Air, and some purple accents!

This cross-trainer is a wonderful shoe -- light enough to avoid fatigue, yet strong enough for the most demanding cross-training sessions. What makes the shoe unique is that it has no tongue. The material that surrounds the ankle as well as where the tongue would normally be, is compliant to the foot; it stretches to accommodate the foot\'s peculiarities and whatever odd shapes the foot has. After all, your foot is subtly different from everyone else\'s; why wear a standard, generically-fittingshoe that has no ability to conform or precisely adapt to your foot?This Nike cross-traineris incredibly comfortable. And, since there is no tongue to move around, your foot feels less fatigued after a workout or after walking all day. It is unlikely to find another pair in similar, new condition, given its age.
