The Napco Company, or National Potteries Corporation, imported china from Japan starting in 1938. Their chinaware such as this teacup and saucer was extremely popular in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. A Victorian courting couple appear to be walking together through the lovely surrounding gardens on the front of the teacup.
