You\'ll be amazed at your sewing skills when you have the correct attachments and accessories at your fingertips. Complete your attachment set with this vintage Singer low shank part. It\'s a narrow hemming foot. SIMANCO part fits low shank machines such as 66, 99, 185, 201, 221 & 222K.

No need for measuring and pressing at the ironing board. The foot is attached to the machine in place of the presser foot. You\'ll fold the edge of your material twice, about 1/8 inch each time, for a distance of about two inches. Just finger crease your folds. Copy of instructions included with your purchase. It\'s really a snap once you get the hang of it!

I did not have to press the hem at all before sewing. I just inserted the fabric into this fantastic little gadget and gently guided the fabric with my fingers, letting the attachment do the folding as I went.
