Vintage Native American Indian Quahadi Comanche Chief Portrait Pastel Charcoal :
$49.99
Vintage pastel and charcoal portrait of a Comanche Chief. Dated 1977. Signed by the artist. I can\'t make out his last name. First name is \"Ray\". Measurements are 21 1/4\" by 18 1/8\". Beneath the artist signature are written the words \"QUAHADI COMMANCHE\" with the word Comanche misspelled. I didn\'t see these words until I took the picture and could see them in the picture. I was told that Comanche Indians didn\'t usually wear the headdress but another person told me they did in the 1800\'s. After searching the internet I learned that Comanche Warriors wore War Bonnets decorated with eagle feathers and bead work as a symbol of their accomplishment. Will be mailed in a mailing tube. High buyer pays shipping, handling and insurance. I ship in the United States only. I accept payment by paypal only. Please ask any questions. Thanks for your interest.
