This sale is for a vintage Native American, Navajo, sterling silver, turquoise & red coral bolo tie, signed E. Spencer. 40mm x 43mm slide with a Navajo leaf design. With an 8mm x 10mm red coral & 9mm robin egg turquoise cab set in sawtooth bezels. It has 2, 60mm sterling silver tips on the ends of a 36\" braided leather tie. Signed, E. Spencer, a Navajo silversmith for the Felix Indian Jewelry Co., in the 1976 era. Read about the Spencer silversmith family in Hallmarks of the Southwest by Barton Wright on page 160. The slide & tips are over 1 ounce of guaranteed sterling silver. This is a nice piece of genuine Navajo silversmithing. See my other sales.
