Beautiful well executed Native American necklace from the four corners region of the United States. Based on closure style I would put this necklace between the 1940s and late 1950s to early 1960s. The piece unmarked, however has classic design elements point towards Navajo or Hopi artisans. The sterling segments are unusual in that they are hand sawn and long, unlike the more modern \"liquid silver\" found now. The overall design elements are equal length strands which are punctuated by small cross-sections of natural orange coral. There are a total of five strands. The overall length of the necklace is a impressive 28 inches long with an almost 2 ounce weight. I was born and raised in Arizona, and have been collecting and dealing in antique Native American jewelry most of my life, so any questions regarding origin or other information is welcomed, as well as if you need additional photos. Please note this piece is unmarked, however that\'s not unusual given the origin and timeframe.
