The History

Scrimshawwork was first started by whalers in New England but quickly carried over toNative Americans and jewelers alike. The process usually involves bone or othermaterials used to hand etch and ink a nautical scene.

The bracelet is signed with a pictograph Fox head. The bracelet does have a break in the cuff underneath the stone, it can still be worn as is, or fixed very easily.

The Piece

Thebraceletincludes a hand carved piece of Scrimshaw work with a nautical scene etched and inked inside of the design. This pictures a ship with a large mast and water within the nautical scene.

The bracelet features classic handmade Navajo Nation silver work including gorgeous Harvey Era designs. The designs feature hand carved bezel work as well as a two tiered cuff design.

The intricacy of the bracelet is just simply amazing and would have taken a lot of time to craft completely by hand.

The bracelet has an inside circumference not including the wrist gap of 5.5\" with a wrist gap of 1\". The bracelet also measures 3/4 wide north to south.
