Main Stone Measurements/Color:There are 3 cut inlaid pieces of sugilite which graduate from small to large in size. The depth is 3 mm. It is a rich, medium purple hue. There is a darker purple matrix that runs through some of them.

Accent Stone:Synthetic Opal, Turquoise

Accent Stone Measurements/Color:There are 2 cut inlaid pieces of synthetic opal, and 8 cut inlaid pieces of turquoise, all graduating from small to large in size. The depth is 3 mm. The opal stones are a firey combination of aqua blue and green. The turquoise stones vary from light blue to medium blue in color.

Stone Treatment:The Sugilite and Turquoise Stones appear to be untreated, but we arenot certified Gemologists and cannot be sure. The Opal stones are synthetic.

Notable Features:The earrings were handmade by a talented silversmith in the Zuni Nation.These Silver Zuni earrings are a beautifulcurved semi-hoop shape. The contrast of silver and the rich bright purple, blue, and aqua stones in these earrings is magnificent. The pattern made is a striped one that varies in band width. The sides and back of these earrings are cased in silver, which gives them a very refined look. They are very colorful as well as stylish. This pair of earrings would be perfect for everyday wear.

Damage:Age appropriate wear. There is some light tarnishing on the silver in these earrings. It could be cleaned with a polishing cloth if desired.
