Lovely Navajo sterling silver hair pin by Navajo master silversmith Allen Kee. Circa 1950\'s. Allen Kee and Kenneth Begay were the first silversmiths who worked for the White Hogan Shop starting in the late 1940\'s. They were also cousins. Rare hair pin beautifully designed and hand made by this talented silversmith. Hair pin measures about 2 3/4\" x 4\". Weight is just over 22 grams. Signed with the AK hallmark, the White Hogan hallmark. Not marked Sterling, may have worn off, but does test as Sterling silver. Item is in excellent vintage condition. Nice item for your collection.
