Three vivid blue Turquoise gemstones are arrayed against a matte black, oxidized ground across the face of this well constructed vintage bracelet. Framed in rope-twisted silver and mounted in crenellated bezels, the Turquoise has sky blue color with small amounts of tight matrix, and the bracelet is detailed with chunky silver tubes decorating the face and gathering and supporting the three-part shank at the shoulders.

In excellent vintage condition with a tight, stable hairline on one piece of Turquoise, the bracelet tests positive for sterling silver, measures 5 1/4-inches around the oval inner circumference, 1 3/16-inches top-to-bottom and weighs 43.7 grams.

Turquoise, along with Blue Topaz, Tanzanite and Blue Zircon, is the birthstone for December and the 11th anniversary gemstone. It\'s been used in jewelry since prehistoric times and is the most popular gemstone in ethnic and tribal jewelry.
