Vintage Navajo Silver and Turquoise Earrings - Clips:

Attractive Navajo turquoise and silver clip earrings. Each earring measures approx. 1\" tall X 7/8\" at its widest point and features beautifully matched turquoise cabochons. Color is a fairly dark blue green with reddish brown matrix. They are set in simple solid bezels and framed with twisted silver wire. Dark area on underside looks like these older earrings were originally screw-backed and later converted to clips. Unmarked coin silver or higher and initialed LB by the artist. A number of artists used this hallmark including Larry Begay, Lee Begay, L. Burnside, and others. Because I cannot identify artist definitively, I have listed these earrings as unsigned. They are exceptional for their lovely well matched turquoise. Total weight is 13 grams for the pair. Clip mechanism is in good working order. Excellent vintage condition.
