Harry Morgan (Navajo / Diné) was known as one of the most outstanding Native American jewelers and was highly respected by artist and collectors alike. Harry lived near Gallup, New Mexico, where he grew up, and passed on in spring, 2008. He won awards at nearly every major Indian art show, and he was a wonderful person. Harry Morgan was a wonderful and very talented silversmith who took pride in everything he made. Family being the most important thing in the world to him meant teaching them to be the best at their craft was the greatest gift. His work is all hand crafted in the tradition Navajo silver smithing. Definitely undervalued in the market today, this will not last as more pieces become available and more people can see the HIGH QUALITY of his work.

This beautiful bracelet is a fine example of his great skill and imagination. The precision of the stamp and file work that mimics twisted wire is amazing!! It rakes a lot of skill and patience even though in the end the final piece looks so effortless. That is what makes a great artist! Classic in design and extremely high in quality makes this an exceptional addition to any collection.
