Turquoise & Sterling SilverPendant

Delicatehand-crafted sterling silver filigree surrounds abeautiful oval turquoise gemstone.

The pendantwashand-made by Native American Juan Pedro Garcia, a Navajo

from the Santo Domingo Pueblo. He was taught by Carl Luthe and has exhibited

at Santa Fe\'s Indian Market as well as at the Eight Northern Indian Pueblo Arts and Crafts Fair.

He is also known as John Paul Garcia and used the JP hallmark when he first

began hand-crafting jewelry in 1978.

His JP hallmark is stamped on the back of the pendant in overlapping lettersnext tothe

sterling stamp which makesthis a vintage, 35+ year old pendant.

The pendant comes with the original 18 inch vintage sterling silver necklace.

Neither the pendant or the necklace have beencleaned, just wiped with a jewelers rougebefore taking pictures.

Both pieces retain theiroriginal patina. As vintage pieces, they have all the aspects of pre-owned jewelry, such

as fine scratches, light wear and tarnish. There are no major dents, dings or flaws unless noted.
