Vintage Navajo Zuni NativeAmericansilver and turquoise necklace.Signed with reverse E back to back with a K and underlined with a straight line.Do not know who to attribute this to, as it bears similarities to several Navajo and/or Zuni silversmiths without matching exactly. May be early Mabel Kee? Ed Chee?Necklace weighs 92 grams with an end to end length of 21 inches featuring five large silver medallions with large turquoise pieces, fixed on chain with a silver tube on the back, between beads.The turquoise is a hard to capture green blue with veins of brown, black and pink/lavender. Medallions vary in size from 1 & 3/8\" to 1 & 6/8\"across and the beads measure 8mm across.Four of the medallions have 3 raindrop beads at the top, off center with a single bead at the bottom off center. The middle largest medallion has 9 of the small raindrop beads at the top with one directly center on the bottom.FLAWS: 1),the medallion to the right hand side of the center, has a hairline fracture across the bottom. It feels superficial as I can only feel crazing on a small area of it. 2), the medallion on the other side of the center has a small chip on the side.Please see ALL photos for details.
