The inscriptionson the cuff links say Ex Scientia Tridents Naval Academy. I am not sure what the gold metal is made of.There is wear on the lettering and on the enamel if you look closely. I am notsure of the year of these cufflinks. The original box is in good condition andhas the name of the Jeweler where these came from. The name is J. G. Heermancefrom Modesto California.
