Thissale is for a vintage used New York Central Brakeman’s hat. It is marked (inside)with the maker name “ Hankin Bros ,uniform cap maker,323 Jefferson Ave.,Buffalo,NY”, in size 71/8 . The NY CentralSystem Brakeman hat badge is mounted on the front.
I have been told that this hat is hard to come by inany condition and to find one as nice as this one, would be an exceptionalfind.

I have gotten a message from an er, who stated that(from my photos) that this hat have a Bamboo lining which would make it an older hat -thank you for the addition information
