Up for sale is this vintage porcelain enameled sign from the New York City Subway system. This two sided sign hung somewhere in the South Ferry station located in Manhattan’s financial district under Battery Park. The sign measures 16” long by 12” wide. It has some small areas of damage as can be seen in the photos as well as some paint drips especially along the edges of the sign. It was manufactured Shank Sign Co. in New York. Please see photos for condition. High buyer pays shipping and insurance. New Jersey buyers add 6.875% sales tax or supply a valid resale number. Good luck for this is a fine find!
