Offered for sale is a circa 1900-1920 Star Quilt

This early 20th century quilt is fashioned from 20 nine patch squares, each measuring 11\" x 11\". They are well set off by a 2\" wide pink border. The quilt is striking in design and displays beautifully. The backing is white cotton muslin and the quilt batting is a thin natural cotton. This quilt is hand stitched and lavishly quilted. The pink border fabric has a well quilted scrolling design. The quilt is stitched at 6-8 stitches per inch. The quilt measures 78\" x 62\". The quilt is supple from use with consistent overall wear. The edges are somewhat frayed (photographed) and there are two age marks, also photographed. This quilt is a wonderful vintage textile in good condition. It is an excellent display piece, perfect for the foot of a bed or to hang on a special wall. Shipping in the continental US is $15.00.
