These clip earrings were made byElvik & Co. in Norway and are sterling silver that has been gold washed to look gold. They are shaped like a swoosh/wave and have enameling typical of vintage Norwegian jewelry. The white enamel is in excellent condition with only some VERY minor discoloration around the edges. The earrings are marked on the back \"Sterling/Norway/925 S\" and have a hallmark that looks like an E surrounded by a bubble. This mark indicates it was made byElvik & Co. based in Oslo.Both clip backs work well. The metal on the back has someblack residue, but I have not tried to clean it at all. Together they weigh 5 grams and they each measure 18 mm x 16 mm (about 3/4\" x 1/2\").
