This week\'s sale offers a wonderful antique watch cuff/bracelet from the 1920\'s-30\'s. Heavy and impressive, beautifully forged from old silver ingot with cruder, more primitive tools, this is an outstanding piece of Native American wearable art by a fine craftsman. The STRENGTH and BEAUTY of this cuff make a HUGE statement....!!! The bracelet features heavy turned and hammered design edges, two large vibrant blue turquoise cabazons, design stamped feather wings to hold the watch, large poured raindrops and appliqued leaves. Not a delicate piece, everything here is large scale with a powerful presence....!!! Very solid, it cannot be adjusted. Measurments are approx. 5-3/4\" inner circumference with a gap of 1-1/2\". 2-3/4\" measured across. 1-5/16\" high. Guess watch is obviously newer, with a new battery, and can always be replaced with another of your choice. Turquoise stones measure 21mm and 20mm. One has a hairline that does not affect its integrity and they are both well set in strong plain handmade silver bezels. Signed N. I would say that this cuff was either personal or ordered for a private collection back in the 1920\'s-30\'s, as the quality is amazing....!!! Tests sterling silver, coin or better.
