This vintage 1970\'s cuff bracelet is signed \"MT\" for a silversmith shop called Sacred Mountain Smiths. They were in operation in the 1970\'s in Arizona. Their artisans made very high quality jewelry using untreated natural turquoise.Due to the fact that this bracelet came from the estate of Sacred Mountain Smiths, eventhough it is at least50 years old, itwas never sold to anyone. You will be the first to wear it! Think about it-there is not another bracelet like this on the planet. It is museum quality and will be a keepsake for generations. The workmanship and design is outstanding! Definitely an investment, but well worth it.
SymbolismThere is a lot of beautiful symbolism created in the silver designs. On one side is a leaf, the top features rain drops and tendrils. All three of these represent life in the desert. One the other side is an eagle\'s wing and a snake. The meaning of the eagle symbol to most Native Americanssignifies courage, wisdom and strength. Themain purpose of the eagle is as a messenger to the Creator. He carried theprayers of the People to the Great Spirit and also has a special connectionwith visions. The snake is connected to lightening and thus represents abundantrainfall, plus fertility and healing.About Blue Diamond Turquoise

Blue Diamond Turquoise features a dark smoky black chert matrixsurrounded by brilliant blues that sometimes appears in wonderful swirls. This exquisitely beautiful stonewas named Blue Diamond Turquoise because it is some of the hardest turquoiseever found. The mine is located outside of Austin, Nevada. It is considered a“hat mine” which is a deposit of turquoise so small that “you can cover it withyour hat”. Long time miners from the area have said that the BlueDiamond mine yielded some of the best turquoise in Nevada. The largest production of this turquoise occurredin the 70\'s, the very time this bracelet was made
