For your consideration is this fabulous vintage handcrafted sterling silver and rare Harcross turquoise necklace set. We are not sure of the age, but estimate this to be from the late 1970s or early 1980s.

This gorgeous set includes a necklace and pair of matching earrings. The necklace features eight blossoms set with large free form, hand polished cabs of Harcross turquoise topped with handmade sterling silver leaves. Three blossoms accent the sides while two blossoms make up the centerpiece dangle. These were hand strung on two rows of handmade sterling silver bench beads that tapers to a single strand. The ends are dressed with sterling cones and closes with hook-eye clasp.

The blossoms average about 1\" x 1\". The necklace measures approx 22\" end to end with the centerpiece adding another 3 3/4\" drop to the profile. The matching earrings measure about 1 1/2\" x 1\" on sterling french hooks. Signed B by the Native American artisan. There are several Native artisans who sign with this letter, so we are not sure who to attribute this beautiful necklace set to. Guaranteed to be Native American handcrafted. * The Harcross Turquoise mine isa small Nevada Turquoise Mine discovered in 1908 and sold to Walter Godber (of the Godber-Burnham mine). It was later claimed by F.B. Cross and J.J. Harrison as the Harcross. The turquoise is very hard and ranges in color from blue, bluish green, to green with limonite, giving it a nice matrix. Rare andhighly collectible.*
