A natural blue turquoise gemstone with dark brown matrix in astampedsterling silver

setting with twisted wire border.

Thedomedgemstone ishandpolished andbezel set.

Thegemstonehas characteristics of Bisbee turquoise but only the artist

would know the true source of the gemstone.

Finely craftedby an unknown Native American artist, best guesswould beNavajo.

The pendant style is characteristic of pieces crafted by Navajo artisans.

Since it does not carry any hallmarks,the pendant ismost likelyan Old Pawn piece.

The pendant is paired with a 19\" sterling silverbox chainnecklace made in Italy.

Both the pendant and necklace are in very good, as-found condition.
