Fullerton Built Olds Super Star with Ultra Sonic Design
These professional trumpets made in the Fullerton California factory represent a special time in trumpet manufacturing. The ultra sonic design is a straight through air flow from lead pipe to bell that facilitated a uniquely easy blow for the professional . These Super Star trumpets sold for the same price as the recording horns that were being made at the time. This trumpet is not mint but is in good condition for its age. Minor cosmetic blemishes include ,a few small indentations, minor fading of the plating and normal wear see on most all 40 year old trumpets. There are no large blaring dents, the lacquer finish on top of the silver and gold plating is in good condition. All slides are free and they move uninhibited . The sound is rich with strong projection and the playabilty is classic vintage Olds. Included is the original case which is very used but does old the trumpet nicely, no mouthpiece.
