Vintage original mid-century (likely 1960s) \"La Fonda\" chair, designed by Charles and Ray Eames (for Alexander Girard) and produced by Herman Miller being offered in very good, as-found and unrestored condition -- the chair is somewhat dusty from storage and could use a light cleaning. Fortunately, the wonderful purple fabric is in very good condition with no tears, fraying, significant staining or splits to the seams (which is a common problem with these upholstered chairs); the foam feels firm, but not crunchy or crumbling. The original chrome base has lost some of its original finish and should be cleaned or stripped, and the chair is missing one glide. Measures approx. 20\" wide x 19\" deep x 29\" high.
A difficult-to-find chair, especially in this as-found condition.
