Wonderful find. This painting is iconic of the work ofVáclav Vojtěch NOVÁK. Czech artists, 1901-1969. Framed in a thick wooden frame. Frame shows substantial damage, with chips, cracks and missing sections. It also needs some cleaning. Painting is on a board. Painting measures: 4.5\" x 12\". Frame measures: 9.5\" x 17\". Frame shows some age and wear. Including:a few light scratches, a think pencil line and a drip stain that is off the the right. Please review the pictures closely. Colors are muted and wonderful. This is a classic piece in his iconic style. There is a second board with artists information that was tacked into the back. It reads, milemu zacku, V. V. Novak. Nic Nez, Nebe 14 XII 1946.
