This gallery quality frame hung in a upscale Italian restaurant in NYC for many years. It\'s been in storage ever since the place closed. The photos are in contrasting lighting to give an idea of it\'s presentation lit up and at different times of day. I gave it a gentle wiping but it would have dazzling luminosity after a proper cleaning. The gilt has a warm, aged glow and is in very good condition, though covered with fly specks (I looked into how to remove them and old framing books said...ale!). They add to the patina, or not, depending on personal preference. There are hairline cracks adjacent to all of the 8 piercings and a few other places, but the frame is very sturdy, not delicate or falling apart. Dust has accumulated in the ornamentation from a lengthy storage. Otherwise, in very good vintage condition. Measurements are in inches.Approx. External Size 16.25x18.25x2.4 Approx.
