Pair of Mayer heavy vintage bread butter/dessert plates with the Fisherman logo. Plates have a bright yellow band around the edge and a black band around the flat surface of the plates. There\'s a really detailed image of a fisherman wearing a yellow raincoat, boots and smoking a pipe, with fish trailing behind him. Plates have a Mayer China Beaver Falls PA by Interpace USA with #170 back stamp. This mark was used 1968 -1978. They each have 3 manufacturing dimples on the back. One plate has a chip on the back on the edge of the plate, which I tried to show in my last pic. This is on the back of the plate. Both some shallow surface scratches, but the plate without the chip has less than the one with the chip. Neither one is really heavily scratched, both display well.
