Just had some info to add, These are from the Empress Eugenie collection designed by Alfred Phillipe, there is a very very similar pair with faux pearls instead of the blue glass balls, ( much more vivid with the balls) with a Philippe patent for the date of 1940, thanks to the kind er! Google for the image.
This pair of clips have been in my collection for 20 years, they are signed Trifari with the crown over the T, measure 2 7/8\" long, one has 3 stones missing, several stones darkened, enamel appears to have been repainted in its past, I didn\'t realize till just now, seen through a loupe, there is wear to gold wash, I have never touched to clean, very remarkable old pieces, really chunky and dimensional.
