This is a lovely example of vintage chenille bedspread. At first glance, it appears to be an off white color and could be used as such. However, I detect the faintest, palest pink color of the cotton fabric. The chenille is white/ off white. In overall good condition, there are a few flaws to mention. There is a fairly large patch hand sewn on to the back of the fabric. This was done to secure a couple of tears and prevent further damage. Towards the top, there is another tear about 2\" long as shown in the photo. There is another small puncture at the bottom of the spread- also pictured. There are a few areas that are missing some chenille and in my opinion, they are minor. This spread has much life left in it and still retains original beauty and a reminder of days past.

Bedspread has not been laundered, and is free of any odors and obvious stains. I will fluff in the dryer with a fabric sheet prior to mailing.
