This is a vintage paper mache Easter egg with a window with shutters, window box and rabbit head with glass eyes. It isn\'t marked, but I\'m assuming it\'s German, because of the rabbit head. This piece measures 7.5\" in height, and 5\" in diameter without the extension of the shutters, window box and bunny. The cardboard base measures 2.5\" in diameter. In picture 2, I have used a painted soda can as a size comparison. The piece is in very good vintage condition with just some light wear. The rabbit head measures 3.25\" in height to the top of the ears, 1.75\" in width, and about 2\" in depth. The shutters are 2.5\" in height, and 1\" in width. The \"window box\" is not an actual box. It is merely green moss with tiny paper flowers attached to the front of the egg. The color of the egg seems to vary in my pictures, but it is a terra cotta color, best shown in pictures 3 & 4. The color is even, it\'s only my lighting and photography skills that are lacking! Pictures 5 & 7 are side views, while picture 6 shows the back of the egg. Picture 8 shows the bottom of the cardboard base. There is a bit of bending to the base. Picture 9 shows the base removed from the bottom of the egg. The diameter of the plug that fits up into the egg is 1.75\" and the inside height of the plug is 1\". Picture 10 shows a bit of splitting at the side seams at the bottom of the egg\'s opening. These measure .5\" in length, and could be repaired with glue. I think it is from not being careful in inserting and removing the plug. This is a very sweet piece that does not have to be just for Easter! I am offering it at a reasonable Starting Price with .
