Very nice vintage handmade Paper Mache doll or figurine of a Hispanic village man carrying a bag or sack of potatoes.
I really like this one, he appears to be gazing off into the horizon as if he sees something coming towards him.
His face is very realistic.
He is mounted on a particle board base.
The base is marked Tijuana, Baja 3/11/99
Very detailed and well done piece.
Wonderful rich, vibrant colors and warm earthy tones.
Item is one of several from a collectors estate
