Vintage Mexican paper mache box signed Capistrano Mexico in excellent condition. This measures about 8 1/2\" by 4\" and 2\" high and is signed Capistrano Mexico # 34-0 as shown. This oval shape box has a fitted lid with sun face in cameo on top and raised hearts around the sides. The color is a pretty hot pinkish rose red color. There is some crazing on the sun face, light scuff on a heart and was always displayed standing or leaning against the wall.Thislookslike the papier mache art work of Gemma Taccogna the way her face is painted. This has been in the family for over 40 years and I have a lipstick to match listed too.
