There are no markings to indicate the place of origin. It is definitely old, not sure of age, so just dating as vintage. It is approximately 10\"long and about 7 1/2\" wide. Probably was filled with Easter candy or doll or chicks. It would make a great display with antique or vintage dolls or toys.
