For your consideration is this absolutely gorgeous old pawn Sterling Silver and Gems inlay Yei Bei Chi pendant necklace by world renown Navajo silversmith Alvin Yellowhorse. We estimate it to be from the late 1980s or early 1990s.

This sensational pendant necklace features precision cut pieces of turquoise, lapis, spiny shell, mother of pearl and malachite inlaid into the Yei image. Sterling silver feathers stick up above the head of the pendant.

The pendant measures approx 4 1/2\" x 1\" and is hung on a single strand of handmade sterling silver bench beads necklace measuring approx 24\" end to end. Stamped Sterling and hallmarked by the Navajo master silversmith Alvin Yellowhorse. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

* Alvin Yellowhorse is a Navajo artisan who is well recognized for his contemporary andinnovative inlaid designs. He started producing in the late 1980s and has won many awards and ribbons at the Gallup and Sante Fe jewelry shows.Alvin was recognized by the Smithsonian Magazine in their August 1999 issue, along with Art Book Arizona Magazine doing a profile on his life. His works are featured in many Southwest galleries. *
