This sale is for an American Scale Mfg co. Vintage antique scale / fortune machine. The scale is porcelain and steel with a bronze platform on the base for standing. The round emblem on the front is also bronze-\"in what month were you born?\". The scale appears to be accurate within a few pounds (using my own weight) and should you need to zero, it is easily set back to zero manually through back panel access. To get your weight and fortune, insert one penny into the slot containing your birth month (pictured) and the results are revealed. There is even a weight chart on the front for males and females to know the average weight for their height. ---      I am not sure of exact age but this piece is most likely from the 50\'s or 60\'s and is in good condition for its age. It has some black smudge marks on it as well as a few small places where the porcelain has chipped. Overall this is a great looking scale and the black lettering over white is beautiful. Dimensions are 54\"x27\"x14\".  Please look at photos carefully before purchase. Scale is sold \"as is\".  PayPal only.
