This listing is for a pair of vintage donkey salt and pepper shakers by Relco Japan. Each piece is approximately 3.25\" tall and about 3.5\" long. I\'ve tried to show details in the photos above. I have had these in my collection for many years and I\'ve made no repairs to them. In going over them very closely with a magnifying glass before listing them I see a couple of issues that I want to point out. The black paint on the hooves is a little spotty...I think mostly just a little sloppiness by the original decorator. One of them has a back hoof that I suspect has had some repair work. It looks like a little was sliced off the back of the hoof but it has a glossy coating so it is hard to tell. That same hoof looks like it may have been sliced off and then repaired. Again, it was well done because I can\'t quite tell since it has a good glossy coat that is a really good match to the original coat. I am going to sell these assuming that there has been repair to that one foot so please offer with that in mind. It\'s not perfect so know that they are not mint condition but they are fine for the casual collector like me. Some of the spots you see in the photos are just reflections from the flash of the camera. One is missing its cork stopper but it is the one with the stopper that may have the repaired rear hoof. Look closely where the stopper is missing and you can see a couple of small places that look like chips but they are also still coated so I can\'t quite tell if it was a repair or not. Fun additions to someone\'s collection!
