This is just a great Polonnone Porcelain bust of the Russian Romanticized leader Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky. He lived from 1595-1657. The bust has the name Taras Bulba on the base. He is a fictional Russian character and I think that this was a mistake. The bust is in excellent used condition. He stands 9.5 inches. Shoulders to shoulders across measures 8 inches. The base is 2.75 X 3 inches. The only thing Condition wise worth mentioning is under the feather where they missed a spot of red when manufacturing. Probably 70s-80s. Would make a wonderful gift this Holiday Season.
