This is a black and white drawing or coloring on paper of a Man wearing a hat. It is not easy for us to determine what the exact medium that is that was used to create this piece. It may have been coated with some sort of matte finish varnish to protect it from smudging. He looks a bit like a Fisherman. When viewed from a distance this bust portrait has an effect of viewing a three dimensional sculpture. There is no visible signature on the front of this work. It is backed by old cardboard and the nails in its frame have been there from the beginning without ever having been removed. There are no prior nail holes visible. There are a few areas of damage, one which is an indentation just below and to the left of the left eye. Three wear spots or chips, one on the forehead left of center about halfway up, and two on the hat. These are small and look like stains. This unusual art piece is framed in a simple 1930\'s rounded edge wooden frame that is black. Measurements are 11.25 by 17.75 inches sight, 12.25, by 18.87 inches framed. Shipping to the USA only.
