This is a huge authentic Quaker lace tablecloth...measuring 68\" by 110\"
It has a silk Quaker label and the traditional looped hem
One of two similar ones I am listing
Both are shown in photo 12...this one is larger and has the Quaker label
The other one on the left is closer to a true white...exact style but no label
Many other companies produced similar tableclothsTHe center of this piece has a solid rectangular design
and an elaborate floral pattern...looks like a daffodil and huge oak leavesI have many lace tablecloths to list...the original Quakers were all cotton
THen they produced some with a blend to hold the shape better
The most recent Quakers are all poly...I have collected all three styles at local estate sales
This is an older all cotton piece..
Purchased with considerable darkening
...soaked it many times and it is close to but not a true white
..probably will lighten further
...good vintage condition..minor broken strings..most have been repaired
...showing an example of a repair (photo 9) and one that hasn\'t (photo 10).Photo 11 shows the cloth with a white paper and a tiny speck of a stain
...if you hold it to the light you may find some other remnants..
More soaking will lighten and even up the colorPhoto 12 shows two similar heavy cotton tablecloths
...this one is on the right..
The other one does not have the Quaker label,
is closer to a true white and is smallerUnfortunately it will be a three pound package
