This Lot..

A Lovely Silver Brooch Pin which after much research I have found it to be made by Gundorph Albertus.

In 1911 he went to work with Georg Jensen so I believe this to be earlier work 1900-1910 period.

Made from 800 Silver and marked with his makers mark of the GA combined. It is set with a ruby coloured stone presumed paste. Lovely quality piece.

Gundorph Albertus is one of the best designers to come from the Georg Jensen studio and a piece of his work prior to his work with Jensen surely must be both rare and highly prized.
