You are looking at arare and unique find. A1950\'s era Snyderfloor stand with cast iron three tier waterfall design for any vintage microphone you wish to display it with. This deco inspired stand measures from 33 incheslow to 62 inches tall.
Made during the 1950\'s in Philadelphia, PA...Snyder was one of the last American microphone stand manufacturers to compete against Atlas and Snyder only lasted until about the early 1960\'s until they finally went under. You rarely ever come across these floor stands though the desk stands are more common.
Theoriginal black paint is in decent condition as seen in the pics provided with typical but lite wear. The chrome stem looks pretty darn good up top but the bottom stem shows lite wear just below the clutch mechanism then gets heavier a bit towards the base. Thereare just very lite ruststains on the bottom of the base which is always a bonus. Again...all original paint. The cast iron base is 10 inches wide. You probably won\'t see another of these older Snyder stands on for awhile so you might want to jump on this one before it\'s gone.
Three original felt pads are still present and do a decent job of keeping the base from scratching any surface it may rest on.
As with all of my vintage microphones and stands...
