Lladro Basset Hound Dog Head made of fine porcelain and produced in Spain by the finest craftsmen and artists for only 10 years, The details on this are exquisite. The shape of the eyes, the curve of the ears and the stitching of the collar are all spot on.
- This is #1149 which was issued in 1971 and retired in 1981. This is a RARE sculpture that is not currently listed on or etsy.
- The dog\'s head weighs well over 2 lbs. It is 4 1/2\" wide, 5 1/2\" tall and 5 1/2\" deep. Zoom into the pictures to see the artist\'s marks on the bottom. The bottom is unusual as it is made in 2 levels. I\'ve noticed it can sit with the head in either position.
